Braxxie Bazaar!

FreeCelebrate the 69th anniversary of the sighting of the Flatwoods Monster by coming out to Braxxie Bazaar, September 11th, 2021 in downtown Sutton, West Virginia! The Flatwoods Monster, or as his friends like to call him, Braxxie, was originally seen in the Town of Flatwoods on September 12th, 1952. For more on the back-story of Braxxie, CLICK HERE.
“Braxxie Bazaar” will be hosted by the Elk Theatre, Landmark Studio for the Arts, and Flatwoods Monster Museum, all located on Main Street in Downtown Sutton, West Virginia. The event will include film screenings, guest speakers, and venders. Admission is FREE to Braxxie Bazaar, including all movie screenings and guest speakers.
The Elk Theatre will be screening films from 3PM to 9PM on Saturday as well as a kick-off screening of Mothman Legacy at 7PM the Friday before. Film screenings on Saturday will include the premiere of On the Trail of UFOs: Dark Sky, a documentary film centered on the UFO phenomena of West Virginia by Small Town Monsters. Additionally, Saturday will also premier, Flatwoods, a narrative film about a documentary filmmaker who finds herself at the center of an alien conspiracy. Other films relating to other paranormal topics will also be shown throughout the day. Complete film screening schedule for Saturday are as follows:
3 PM – Flatwoods Monster: A Legacy of Fear
4 PM – The Lantern
4:30 PM – A Mystery Screening, only way to know is come and watch!
5:30 PM – Flatwoods (Narrative film)
7 PM – On the Trail of UFOs: Dark Sky
Braxxie Bazaar will also host many guest speakers at the Landmark Studio for the Arts Theater just down the street. Guest speaker will start at 2 PM and run till 5:30 PM. Topics will feature several paranormal topics. Find a full schedule of speakers and topics below:

In addition to these activities, The Haymond House, the West Virginia Bigfoot Museum, and the Elk Hostel will be conducting special events throughout the day. Vendors will include: Liz Pavlovic, Small Town Monsters, Wild and Weird West Virginia, WV C.A.S.E., The Mothboys, Conjure Dust Design, The American Snallygaster Museum, Wooden West Virginia, Author George Dudding, Artist Mark May, The Bump Podcast, and Zach Bales: the Paranormal Roadtripper.
