The Elk Theatre is a historic one-screen theater plays movies most weekends. Screenings regularly scheduled at 7 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and a 3 pm matinee on Sundays. The Elk offers popcorn, soda, and candy refreshments. The theater also hosts many special events and screenings such as the premiere of the Flatwoods Monster: A Legacy of Fear, and the West Virginia Filmmakers Festival.
