Halloween in Braxton County, W. Va.
October 4, 2022Spooky season is big in Braxton. There are just about a whole months’ worth of activities you can take part in to celebrate this wonderful time of year. During October you can enjoy ghost hunting, spooky history and, of course, trick or treating!

For the brave among us, The Haunted Haymond will be conducting haunted tours and ghost hunts from 7pm to 1am on October 13th, 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 27th, 28th, and 29th. For more information, CLICK HERE!
The Bulltown Historic Area will be conducting their second annual “Haunted Trail” on October 22nd from 5pm – 9pm. Event is free, but bring your own flash light! Tours from 5pm to 7pm will be less scary, and tours from 7pm to 9pm will be more scary, so plan accordingly! For more information contact: bulltownhistoricalassociation (at) gmail.com.
Need more fright? Come to Adam Tanner’s House of Horrors located above the Annabelle beginning the second weekend in October and running each weekend the rest of the month, Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm to 10pm.
Enjoy Piccadilly’s pumpkin patch fun on October 27, 2022 from 4 – 9 pm. Pumpkins will be available for purchase and carving as well as snacks and fun around the campfire. For Adults, 20 minute psychic sessions will be available (children may attended with a parent/adult). Call 304 765 5974 to schedule your appointment. Readings from 4 – 8 PM.
Not so into scary, but love Fall colors? The Burnsville Lake Marina will be conducting Fall Foliage Tours on October 22nd from 1pm to 5pm. Admission is $20 per person.
Halloween is the perfect time to pay a visit to the WV Bigfoot Museum and the Flatwoods Monster Museum, both located just blocks from one another in Downtown Sutton.
