Battle of Bulltown – Historic Civil War Reenactment

Please come out on Saturday, October 10th for a very special, larger than ever, Battle of Bulltown! This year’s reenactment is presented by Homespun Historical Ventures, who has partnered with The Burnsville Lake detachment of the US Army Corps of Engineers to improve the Bulltown Historical Area.

And this year, the event will feature two reenactments, not just one! Gather outside of St. Michael’s Church at either 10 am or 3 pm to watch the battle kick off and then follow reenactors up the trail as they push their way to the site of historic Fort Bulltown. Following each battle visitors can explore the Union Camp at Fort Bulltown. Visit with the soldiers at different stations, or watch the Confederate artillery demonstration.

Civilian Reenactors will be present throughout the day in Bulltown Village with Living History Demonstrations, so be sure to plan time to visit them and explore the historical houses before they close at 5 pm!

ADA parking and drop off zones will be located in the Bulltown Historical Area while General Admission Parking will be at the Bulltown launch area parking lots. A free shuttle van service between the parking area and the Historic Area will begin at 9am.
